About Us

Helping Children Build Skills for Meaningful Connections

Social Skills Don’t Come Naturally to Everyone—and That’s Where Learning Begins.

At Grow Together ABA, we believe social and communication skills can be taught, practiced, and strengthened. Every child brings unique strengths, experiences, and ways of learning—and our role is to meet them where they are.

Through individualized, evidence-based support, we help children and teens strengthen communication, friendships, emotional awareness, independence, and confidence.

Whether a child is neurodivergent, transitioning from more traditional ABA services, or simply needs additional support navigating social situations, our goal is the same: to help them build the skills and confidence to form meaningful relationships and feel more successful in the world around them.

The Values That Guide Our Approach

Inclusive

Every child learns differently, and every family has a unique story. We create individualized, evidence-based plans that build on each child’s strengths while honoring your family’s values, culture, and goals.

Responsible

Families place tremendous trust in us, and we take that responsibility seriously. We provide ethical, evidence-based ABA services, communicate openly, support families, and celebrate progress every step of the way.

Respectful

We believe lasting progress begins with understanding and respect. We listen with empathy, partner with families, and create a supportive, encouraging environment where every child is valued, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Collaborative

The best outcomes happen when families, caregivers, educators, and therapists work together. We build partnerships providing consistency across home, school, and community so children confidently apply skills wherever they go.

Mission

At Grow Together ABA, we help older elementary-aged children and adolescents develop the social, emotional, and communication skills to build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and navigate everyday interactions successfully.

Philosophy

We believe every child and adolescent has unique strengths, experiences, and goals. Social and emotional growth is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why our services are designed to provide individualized support that meets each person where they are.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Audrey Colyer, M.A., BCBA, LBA, founder and clinical director of Grow Together ABA.

I earned my Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism Spectrum Disorder and have been working in the field of ABA since 2013. I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2015 and have had the privilege of supporting children and adolescents as they develop communication, independence, social, and emotional skills across a variety of settings.

Too often, children are expected to simply “figure out” the unwritten rules of social interaction on their own. That can be especially challenging when the choices they make affect friendships, communication, and how others respond to them.

I knew there had to be a better way.

That’s why I developed a structured social skills curriculum, incorporating methods from the PEERS® program, to give children and teens clear strategies, modeling, role-play, and practice that help make social situations easier to understand and navigate.

Seeing a child gain the confidence to start a conversation, build a friendship, or navigate a difficult social situation is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
